Hotel Krone Unterstrass - Zurich

They have great mattresses! Never slept so well in a hotel before. It is small, fine, very comfortable. There was one bottle of water waiting for me. Very attentive!

Everything is tip-top!

24h reception is top! Everything else also wonderful apart from the negative points mentioned. I will definitely book here again when I am in Zurich on a business trip.

I was surprised that I had to give 100 CHF deposit at check-in. That got lost in the communication. The bed was a bit worn out and too soft for my taste.

Proximity to tram stop, Unique room configurations, Easy access to local attractions

Noise levels from adjacent rooms can disrupt sleep!!! Inefficient air conditioning doesn't cool rooms adequately when needed!!!

The venue is clean and reasonably large, views are nice, the location is stunning really close to main railway station and tram stop and both public areas. Top-class and attentive staff at check-out, everything is modern.

Very attentive & friendly staff - delicious and large breakfast selection. On foot you can reach the town hall / centre in 20 minutes - Bircher-Muesli was great!

Actually nothing - coffee was perhaps a little thin - but that's a matter of taste!

I had a great night at krone unterstrass. The room was super clean and very comfortable. It was also quiet, which i appreciated. The tram stop right outside made exploring easy. The staff was friendly and super helpful, just what you want when traveling alone.

My parrtner and I have spent a lot of time in Zurich, we have stayed at 6 stars and 2 Stars. This hotel just flat out rocks. The tram is out the front door, three minute ride to city center, the Staff is without a doubt 7star quality if there is such a thing, they have a wide variety of rooms and large studios that were just built a year ago. All rooms are spotless and quiet, even with the tram out the lobby door. All in all, from my hundreds of nights in Zurich over the years, this hotel tops all in my humble opinion..... But who am I? Try it yourself and I truly believe you will find it a wonderful property with an absolute great staff and management. Enjoy!

We enjoyed visiting Theater 11 for a fantastic show and loved the Flussbad Oberer Letten for some refreshing swimming. The tram stop right outside.

One thing that was frustrating was the check-in process. We were asked for a credit card deposit, which seemed a bit unnecessary since there was no mini bar in our room. It felt a little too much for what we received.

I absolutely loved the fantastic buffet breakfast. it had such a wide variety. The kitchenette area was super convenient for snacks. My room was spacious and exceeded expectations!
